A memorial at Ilford Baptist Church, High Road, commemorates sixteen of the congregation who lost their lives during the war. The epitaph and names of the dead are inscribed on a grey marble tablet with a decorative border, set within a brown marble frame.

The marble tablet was commissioned to replace the original memorial which was made of wood and featured a hand-painted inscription.
