A pair of stained glass windows at St. Alban’s Church in Ilford, commemorates 15 men of the congregation who served and died in the war. They feature an image of two British soldiers standing before Christ. Below is the inscription: ‘Looking unto Jesus, the Captain of their Salvation’.

The windows are accompanied by a brass memorial plaque, mounted on the wall between the windows. The plaque is decorated with a floral border and inscribed with an epitaph and the names of the 15 men of the congregation who died.
